A Note to our Patients
Due to increased pressures during Covid- 19 lockdown and restrictions it has been difficult to maintain full staff capacity with our Reception staff and GP’s. This has been due to staff being unable to work because of sickness, isolating or shielding.
This has had an impact on the numbers of reception staff to handle our phone lines and also the numbers of appointments we can offer our patients.
This is of great concern to the Practice and we endeavour to be able handle more calls and provide more appointments when the Covid restrictions are eased and things return to normal.
I apologise for any in convenience and hope that you will continue to be understanding of this situation and may I offer the opportunity to tell you about online access where you can go online and amongst other things book into available appointments,order repeat prescriptions, and have access to your medical records.

Please note you must stay at home if you have either
- A high temperature (above 37.8), you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
- A new continuous cough
DO NOT go to the GP surgery, Pharmacy or Hospital

During this time, we may need you to go to different sites across the RWT Primary Care Network as we attempt to separate patients who are potentially infected from those who are well.
During this time, we want to make sure you can access your prescriptions as easily as possible. If you have already nominated a pharmacy where your prescriptions are sent to electronically this will continue and there is no change. If you currently collect your prescriptions from the practice in person or have no nomination in place, we have nominated a pharmacy on your behalf. Should you wish to change where your prescriptions are sent, please call the practice, who will be able to help you.

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
We hope you enjoy having a look around the site and familiarising yourself with some of the online features such as ordering a repeat prescription. Whatever your thoughts, be sure to let us know via our feedback function. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.
There is access for those in wheelchairs, with an adapted toilet for disabled users. There is also a lift for the consulting rooms upstairs if required.
